I am trying to do an acrylic painting portrait of Audrey Hepburn at the moment. Never used paint before, usually is colored pencils. I must say it is hell, so hard to control and blending is awful, I have a big respect to anyone that uses acrylic paint, in the long run think I will stick to colored pencils, hopefully I can save Audrey in the mean time though ;o)
your work with pencils is Superior to mine..but if control is the problem..try layers tone on tone and light progression of color less paint and maybe use a cotton with with water or alcohol for texture..maybe=+) hope that is a little help..and thank you for the comment all ways appreciated =+)
Wow your water-painting skills are actually improving! What you could add would be a sun reflection in the water, and if it's already there than make it more obvious cuz it's hard to see behind the annoying watermark...
lmbo..yes..but you have see them there old one's from sheezyart..2009 ones and the old sketch book I did.. still have so many more to put on..started in nov 2009...till now 2010 little over one year..and lost ok camera in about April with the painting..so there just not as good.because of it.. they all blur more. lose the detail..lol any ways thanks for wonderful comment. =+)
It's a very relaxing piece, and I like the waves.
Always nice to see your work; it makes me calm to see such a landscapes.
8½/10
